Madagascan Velvet Day Geckos

Madagascan Velvet Day Geckos for Sale – Blaesodactylus sakalava

Looking to buy a Madagascan Velvet Day Gecko online?

Madagascan Velvet Day Geckos are among the most unusual and attractive geckos available in the reptile hobby. Native to the dry forests of Madagascar, Blaesodactylus sakalava is prized for its velvety skin, soft gray to tan coloration, large expressive eyes, and calm disposition. Unlike the brilliantly colored Phelsuma day geckos, this species has a subtle beauty that makes it a favorite among collectors seeking something truly different.

These primarily nocturnal to crepuscular geckos thrive in vertically oriented enclosures with cork bark, climbing branches, and numerous hiding places. Madagascan Velvet Day Geckos appreciate moderate humidity, good ventilation, and a varied diet of insects supplemented with occasional fruit-based gecko diets. Their gentle nature and unique appearance make them rewarding display animals for dedicated keepers.

At Big Apple Herp, we offer healthy Madagascan Velvet Day Geckos for sale that are carefully maintained and professionally shipped. Whether you're expanding your gecko collection or looking for a distinctive Madagascan species, the Madagascan Velvet Day Gecko is an exceptional choice.
