Uruguayan Black Tarantulas

Uruguayan Black Tarantulas for Sale – Grammostola iheringi

Looking to buy a Uruguayan Black Tarantula online?

Uruguayan Black Tarantulas are among the most impressive New World tarantulas in the hobby. Native to Uruguay and southern Brazil, Grammostola iheringi is prized for its deep velvety black coloration, robust build, and impressive adult size. Their striking appearance and hardy nature have made them favorites among enthusiasts looking for a beautiful terrestrial display species.

These terrestrial tarantulas spend much of their time resting near a burrow or hide, emerging primarily during the evening to hunt and explore. Uruguayan Black Tarantulas thrive in enclosures with deep substrate, secure hiding places, and moderate humidity. While generally less defensive than many Old World species, they can be more spirited than other members of the Grammostola genus, making them an excellent choice for keepers with some tarantula experience.

At Big Apple Herp, we offer healthy Uruguayan Black Tarantulas for sale that are carefully maintained and professionally shipped. Whether you're adding a striking black tarantula to your collection or looking for a hardy South American species, the Uruguayan Black Tarantula is an outstanding choice.
